    We were craving for a dessert cafe and happened to choose Sweet Moment Cafe in Chinatown. We got the red velvet milk tea and it was so cute with the bear latte on top! It was cold and refreshing for a hot day outside. Tasted very creamy for a milk tea. We also got the strawberry bingsoo and we were blown away on how good it was. There were corn flakes and mochi in the cup as well! Definitely a great find in the area. Service was great where the employees took our order and the food came out at a reasonable time. Lots of seating area and there was a K-Pop event happening in the store too. Just wish that they went around and cleaned the tables after customers finished eating because not a single table was clean. Looking forward to trying their other items on the menu.     Sweet Moment is one of those places that I always forget about until I'm walking in the area and my friends and I want something sweet - I've been here a few times before, and it's always quite nice for a quick treat. This time, my friend and I ordered the small matcha strawberry shaved ice. (like bingsoo, if that's splitting hairs). It was very yummy. The milky ice was not too sweet, the matcha flavour from the ice cream and the sauce (?) went nicely with the ice and the bites of strawberries. I quite liked the cornflakes, too; they added a nice flavour and texture contrast while eating. Portion size is good; I think it can be hard to finish the large size option with just one other person (especially if you've just eaten). And it was only $8-ish! Nowadays I think that is a quite a good price for any Asian dessert (even bubble tea drinks can be that pricey, and this dessert was for 2 people, no less.) The downside is that it can often be quite crowded (especially in peak, i.e. post-meal dessert) times, and finding seating (especially for any group of ... 3? or more people) might be challenging. Also, the queue for the washroom! So long! Every time! :( All in all, though, I think the desserts l've had here have always been quite lovely and I will try to remember to come by more often!

    Tastes as amazing as it looks. I've had a lot of bingsoo before (both in New York and in Korea) and this is super solid. I had the matcha black sesame cup bingsoo and it was delicious - not too sweet, and pleasantly surprised by the corn flakes. I was worried about not being able to finish it, but that was definitely not an issue. I also sampled my friend's matcha latte with oat milk and I would recommend that as well

    Cute Korean cafe with shaved ice, savory egg sandwiches, and drinks! The service was super efficient. Get the matcha cheesecake milk shaved ice!!! This was absolutely delicious!!! Came with a matcha ice cream on top. The milk shaved ice was soo light and fluffy, the matcha syrup was at the perfect sweetness level!! You can choose small or large, but we chose the small size. The little topping inclusions were amazing and provided a beautiful mix of textures - cheesecake, rice cake, cornflakes, white chocolate, red bean, mini sweet egg roll.
